Our guiding principles
The Association of Footballers sees itself as the voice of Austrian professional footballers. The VdF feels obligated to expose and publicly address grievances. It places particular emphasis on providing individual and collective advice and assistance to its members in legal matters.
The history of the VdF
The Association of Footballers (VdF) represents the interests of all amateur and professional footballers active in Austria. The association's role in representing football interests in Austria began in 1988 with the initiative of Dr. Rudi Novotny.
