Our concerns
Advice
Our members receive individual advice regarding contract signings and any questions that may arise during the contract period. They also receive information on the legal termination of contracts, a player's rights and obligations towards the club, and any changes to the statutes by the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) or the Bundesliga.
Legal basis
Minimum conditions for Bundesliga players are regulated in the collective agreement for footballers; the VdF provides expertise on all relevant topics relating to the collective agreement.
Representation
In the event of legal problems, our members are provided with a lawyer free of charge (according to our legal protection regulations). This also applies – if warranted – to entire teams collectively. For individual players, the elected club works councils (player representatives), who are provided with specific information by us, are also available. In addition to the option of arranging an individual consultation with us, the Bundesliga teams are visited at least once a year. The VdF representatives are available to assist with all professional matters, including tax and financial issues.

Our service to our members consists of providing immediate access to all information concerning Austrian professional and amateur football. In addition to our website, our magazine "PLAYER's Magazin" serves as our primary publication. Here, members can read all the background stories related to the beautiful game. The magazine is sent to every VdF member's home. Each member also regularly receives informational letters intended to clarify new decisions made by the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) or the Austrian Bundesliga.
