VdF Coaching: Training for players without a contract / Additional training for VdF members

Korkmaz, Aufhauser, Mair, Geiger and Kulovits as coaches

The players' union VdF – Die Spielervereinigung (VdF – The Players' Association) is launching a new project for all VdF members called VdF Coaching. From June 22nd to July 30th, individual, group, or team training sessions will be offered three times a week at four locations (Vienna, Linz, Graz, Salzburg, Vorarlberg). Training times vary depending on the location. For more information on dates and times, please contact us directly.

Former professionals, like Ümit Korkmaz, Rene Aufhauser, Wolfgang Mair, Jeff Geiger, or Enrico Kulovits Those who now have experience in the coaching field will oversee the support centers.

Goalkeeper training is also offered if needed. The project is supported by the international players' union FIFPro, and participation is exclusively reserved for VdF members and is free of charge.

The project is not only aimed exclusively at players without contracts, but also at those who want to complete additional training sessions. Another key focus is to offer the training sessions not just at one location, but to give players from across the region the opportunity to participate.

The team will also include sports psychologist Wolfgang Treipl, MSC: „"We are providing professional support to players without contracts during this difficult phase."“

Site manager Ümit Korkmaz: „"I was also once without a club, I know how difficult such a situation is, therefore I want to help affected players."“

VdF-project manager Oliver Prudlo: „"A huge benefit for all VdF members. On the one hand, we support players without a club, and on the other hand, we can offer additional training to those who want to improve further."“

Registrations and inquiries should be directed to Oliver Prudlo at o.prudlo@vdf.at
