Further Education
For the period after the football
As wonderful as a career in professional football can be, it will eventually come to an end. In the best-case scenario, it lasts 10 to 15 years. However, injuries can bring a career to a halt much sooner. To prepare for a professional career after playing football, we advise everyone to pursue further education and training in good time. After all, only 31% of Austrian professional footballers manage to secure their financial future after their playing days are over.
The VdF therefore always strives to enter into collaborations with selected educational partners in order to be able to present its members with attractive further education opportunities.
