For the
Good cause
The VdF Golf Charity has been held annually since 2010. From the hallowed football pitch, participants tee off on the 18-hole course! Numerous current and former footballers take part in this tournament. The net proceeds from entry fees, the special charity card, raffle tickets, and the auction at the end of the event are used to fund places for socially disadvantaged children at sports camps.
The VdF has already held its Golf Trophy 14 times – this year for the second time in close cooperation with spusu. The tournament was played for the first time at the Süßenbrunn Golf Club near Vienna.
The Golf Charity 2025 attracted 48 participants (including several VdF members) under ideal conditions and glorious weather. Thanks to partners and sponsors such as spusu, Heiltherme Bad Waltersdorf, Weingut Heinrich, Golfresort Bad Griesbach, JAKO Austria and Sport Burgenland, the participants were offered a wide range of activities surrounding the tournament.
